Tamotsu “Tamo” Tzunezumi, 91, of Hilo died Jan. 20 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pepeekeo, he was an auto mechanic and retired proprietor of the former Tamo’s Repair Shop in Hilo, was formerly employed by Oshima Garage and Hilo Motors, and was a member of the Higashi Hongwanji Mission, Hilo Daijingu, Tenrikyo Hilo Church, Big Island Auto Traders Association, Kamana Club, Uta no Kai Club, Niigata Kenjinkai and Hilo Okinawan Cultural Club. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Dorothy Tsunezumi of Hilo; sons, Ronald (Carol) Tsunezumi and Oren (Stephanie) Tsunezumi, both of Hilo; daughter, Gail (Eugene) Harada of Waikele; brother, Masatoshi Tsunezumi of Hilo; sister-in-law, Kiyoko Tsunezumi of Honolulu; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Rose Crivello Pinnow, 101, of Papaikou, died Jan. 18 at her son’s home. Born in Onomea, she was a housewife and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Sacred Heart of Jesus Society. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel; wake service at 7 p.m. Friends may call again from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Mass at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Mauna Kea Memorial Park. Survived by sons, Leslie (Norma) Pinnow of Papaikou and Harold (Hazel) Pinnow of Hilo; daughter-in-law, Loretta Victorino Pinnow of Ainaloa; brothers, Leonard (Margo Branco) Crivello and Milton (Agnes) Crivello, both of Hilo; sister-in-law, Rose Crivello of Papaikou; eight granchildren; nine great-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
